Tender, juicy, flavorful pork loin chops like these can be yours! The tasty store bought marinade is the key to their awesome flavor.
The marinade of choice here is called "Allegro Original Marinade", and even though it's aroma reminds me of a certain type of catfish bait, it sure makes these grilled pork chops taste fantastic!
Marinated for one or two hours, these cook quickly once they hit the grill. And they don't last long when they're served, either!
INGREDIENTS
Place the pork chops, Allegro marinade and pepper in a plastic food storage bag, or into a glass or plastic bowl. Slosh the pork around so it's fully coated and submerged in the brown, fragrant liquid.
Marinate for one to two hours in the fridge.
Grill over medium low direct heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until done. There's always some variation in grill temp, so time will vary. The chops will be slightly firm when done.
To verify that they are done, check the internal temperature with a small handheld thermometer. Grasp one of the chops with tongs and insert the probe into its side. This is the most effective way to check the temperature of thin meats.
If the temperature registers 145°F or higher, the chops are done.
Serve your grilled pork loin chops immediately after removing from the grill. Great when served with a few bacon wrapped jalapenos, grilled squash, and with some liquid apple pie for dessert!
